Quiet Quitting

You may have heard the term 'quiet quitting'. When I first heard it my initial response was there has always been employees who give minimal effort. They stay under the radar, get done what is asked but don't show any enthusiasm for what they do or how their work output looks. We just now have a label for it.

But what really bothers me is that these people are unhappy, unmotivated, and uninspired. That is no way to live because it can have negative consequences on your health and in your relationships.

We spend too much time (approximately 90,000 hours) working not to enjoy it and be inspired either by the work or by the people we work with.

So if you yourself feel this way or you know someone around you who could be considered a 'quiet quitter' do them a favor and send them my way. It may just be one phone call that can change their life for the better.
