I can almost see the excitement from the graduates now, followed by a feeling of nervousness with a touch of anxiety. Most have to wait until May to cross the stage and receive their diplomas but they are done with college in December.
𝗖𝗮𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗱𝘂𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲? What a feeling of freedom.
Students entering college now have so many choices, maybe too many, that it can be really hard for an 18 year old to make such a big decision.
All of a sudden you start college and you get to decide what path you want to take after going to school for 12+ years and having your academic path laid out for you.
Then in just four years (parents hoping) the student graduates. Many continue on to graduate school but for those that plan on getting their first professional career position it can be a scary time.
